Crash Pad for EVOLV
The adjustable and contoured backpack straps, along with the larger and more cushioned waistband, work together to keep the pad/gear weight centered on the hips. Additionally, a sternum strap helps to maintain the position of the shoulder straps, while the load lifters redistribute the weight off the shoulders and onto the hips. Featuring new quick-release industrial-strength metal cam-style buckles all around, this design allows for easy opening and closing. A huge carpet square is included to facilitate cleaning of shoes.
The combination of metal cam-style buckles, webbing, and flaps enables secure storage of your gear and/or an additional pad. Strategically placed easy-access handles make it simple to move pads quickly from one boulder to another without the need to close the pad. The internal construction consists of 3 inches of open-cell foam, sandwiched between a 1-inch layer on both the top and bottom.
When fully opened, the dimensions measure 56 inches by 45 inches by 5 inches (141 cm x 114 cm x 12.7 cm). In its closed state, the dimensions are 28 inches by 45 inches by 11 inches (70.5 cm x 114 cm x 28 cm). The exterior is crafted from 900D poly fabric with a water-repellent coating, ensuring durability and protection against the elements.
